Those of us who are lucky enough to own either a Nintendo DS or Wii, will know what great fun they are! I was given a DS for Christmas, and I love it. Little did I know the hassle that was behind the purchase of it! However I had been trying to help my boyfriend find a Wii remote for someone else...and it was shattering!

So, Nintendo have done what they intended. Created a hype, made massive money and still have buyers now.

But the big question is, what do they do now? They've done it! Does Mr Nintendo just sit and wait for Wii's to break and people to buy more. Well that would be silly! But what on earth could possibly be better and more hype worthy than a machine that lets you wave your arms in the air (sometimes break them!) and bring a bowling alley to your own living room?

They have to create something and sharpish. Even at this early stage I'm sure many parents are wondering what expensive toy they should be saving up for this year.

This thought come from the back of a BBC News story reporting of a massive 63% profit rise for Nintendo in the past year. The DS is also the best selling console of last year. How on earth do you improve on that? Is it downhill from here?

Please tell me of your Wii and DS views, and do you think that Nintendo have put their foot in it a bit, in terms of moving onwards and upwards.

We keep our eyes peeled for the next big thing!
