Ok so this chick is always in the american rags, but who the hell is she? Not been an avid Disney channel watcher I'm not familiar with her very popular show Hannah Montana. I think the gist of the show is that she is a normal girl who has an alter ego that is a massive pop star. I think.... but could be wrong! Anyway ala Hilary Duff this has lead on to more and more and now she sells out stadium tours all over the states!

She is from somewhat country music royalty with her dad being Billy Ray Cyrus, he of Achy Breaky Heart fame, and her grandparents being some famous country singers I've never heard of (not that I am an aficionado!). She is just 15 years old and according to the usual hollywood teen supplied script has great faith in God and is waiting for marriage, etc etc. Yeah yeah we heard that one with Britney and say nothing of her 16 year old knocked up sister!! (Sorry mean I know!)

Anyway the drugs/pregnancy rumours hit the net long along, but the latest is soft porn shots of her in her knickers, which I am nearly 100% sure are doctored, thereby leaving her pure image intact for another few months at least!

So next up for Miley (called Miley after her nickname Smiley... her real name is Destiny or something cringy like that!) is a Hannah Montana movie. I'm kind of intrigued by this Hannah Montana malarky, I must try and check it out somewhere. If her massiveness in the states translates to us with more refined tastes (!) you'll be hearing alot more about her soon. If you have tweens in your house, you probably already have. If not you will just have to be content to seeing pictures of her hanging out on red carpets with her dad and those other 'celebs' I have no idea who they are, the High School Musical Stars. That also has totally passed me by...I must look into that too!
