Last week a boy called Corey's parents went away. He is 16, so he does what most 16 year olds would do, he thinks 'free gaff' and decides to have a party, which his parents have banned him from doing. Except Corey thinks big and announces it on MySpace. And 500 kids show up. Funnily enough the neighbours get a big annoyed when things get out of hand and call the boys in blue. Some of the party goers aren't that happy about this and a mini riot ensues on the street in this nice residential suburb. The helicopter and dog squad were called in and the whole melee cost the Australian Government AUS$20,000!

Corey realised that perhaps he could be in a bit of trouble, especially when he heard his parents were rushing home from their holiday, and he went to ground. His parents went mental as they came back to find their house in a 'disgusting' state!

Unbeknownst to himself what Corey did next was marketing genius. He was defiant in the media and refused point blank to go home and face the music. Opinion was divided on his behaviour and he became somewhat a poster boy for teenage angst and rebellion over night. Then he broadcasts an interview with himself on youtube offering a half hearted apology which only added to his fame.

But why are we writing about him under the celeb category? Because now he has turned pro and is an international dj and party planner and is embarking on a world tour and is coming to a venue near you. Great idea as he still has to pay back the cost of the damage. And sure if it doesn't work out? Well he says, he'll just go back to being an apprentice carpenter. Sure why not!
