Heroes leaves us after every episode amazed and left wondering of what awaits us in the next. With its outstanding visual effects and writing from the creator Tim Kring makes Heroes an unbelievable success both here and in the US.
Heroes premiered on NBC on September the 25th 2006 and has been very successful since then. Leaving audiences on the edge of their seats for the next episode or season to see what is in store for these amazing characters.
Kring has said there is five seasons scheduled and knows where the show is heading unlike some shows out there at the moment. Nevertheless Heroes attracted an average of 14.5 million viewers over in the US. It also recieved the highest rating for any NBC Drama.
With the recent strike at the American Writers Guild some episodes have no yet been brodcast.
Heroes plot is similar of that of comic books and is designed to involve ordinary people who have extroadinary powers.
Season One
Volume One: "Genesis"
The series begins with a number of ordinary people who come to realise they have extroadinary super powers. They discover their powers from different events that take place in their life and effect their lives in both good and bad ways.
Mohinder Suresh is a professor in India who returns to New York to investigate his fathers death. Suresh finds through his studies that there lies a secret and that there are people walking among us with super powers.
Other characters such as Claire Bennett, finds out that she is indestructible. A Las Vegas stripper Niki Sanders is finding life hard as she tries to make ends meet for her son, but in her image lies a secret.
Isaac Mendez is struggling with his addiction of drugs and feels that he can paint the future with his gifted talent. Matt Parkman can hear peoples thoughts and Hiro Nakamura can stop time.
All these characters are destined for the same thing and that is to save the world and to use their powers wisely.
With Heroes Season 1 now finshed, Season 2 begins on 4th of February 2008.
Season Two
Volume Two: "Generations"
With the first episode of season 2 called "Four Months Later". Sylar and Peter's showdown reveal the true fate of the Heroes Characters.
Hiro meets his hero after landing in Japan and Claire tries to keep a low profile after being moved away but finds it harder than it seems.
The second season takes place four months after the events at Kirby Plaza. Peter, Matt, Nathan and Sylar have all survived a numberous of events that have taken place throughout season one and are trying to get back to their ordinary lives, despite what super abilities they may have.
New characters are also brought in which include Maya and Alejandro.
