On the 25th of January 08, it was reported that Jeremy Beadle had been admitted to hospital and subsequently entered an Intensive Care Unit due to severe pneumonia. He died on the 30th of January 08 aged 59

We all remember Jeremy Beadle from the old hit TV show " You've been framed " I used to watch it every week when I was a kid. It was one of those family things, where we'd all sit around watching it while eating our supper. I loved that show.

But as the years went on it was copied by other various television companies, each adding their own little twist to make it seem somewhat different. But do we remember any of these programmes? NO, and I'll tell you why. We don't remember any of these shows because they lacked something. Integrity and personality. Yes that's right!

It's very simple. Just like a film/movie, if you don't care about the character "The lead" then the movie becomes boring, dull. We lose interest very quickly and change the channel or leave the theatre. The same thing applies here. We didn't care. But with "You've been framed" we did. Jeremy had that rare quality about him. He was very likeable and entertaining to watch. We cared about him.

Jeremy was also noted for being one of the first TV presenters with a visible disability, manifested as a disproportionately small right hand and in 2001 he was made a Member of the Order of the British Empire for his services to charity.

I was quite shocked to hear about his death. Personally, I really liked the show. It was a part of my childhood. I watched it growing up; and if he was still alive today and the show came back to ITV, I would definitely watch it!! Watch out Beadle's about!! Jeremy, You're a legend, an Inspiration to many, and may you rest in peace
