Enchanted again!

Disney films (well all kids’ films actually) changed forever in 1995. This was the year that Toy Story was released. This movie made it officially okay for kids’ films to not take themselves seriously. The old stereotypes are dead and gone.

Vince Vaughn decides to take a brave step in the shoes of all the past greats. He follows in the “memorable” steps of Tim Allen, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and of course Chevy Chase, in making a little Christmas movie and it almost worked. Their movies may have crashed and burned, but he walks carefully between a cheesy holiday film and a good comedy using his standard charisma and great improvisations to make a decent film.

Do you want to make a hit film? Just take a weird sport, add an out of shape average Joe as the hero and then spice it up with some craziness. You now have a sport comedy.
