They live is a 1988 film from director John Carpenter of Halloween fame that has recently being playing reguarly on the Sci Fi channel. It’s the story of one mans quest to liberate Earth from dominant alien invaders after he discovers a pair of sunglasses that shows the world for what it really is.
Review of The Orphanage

The orphanage is as good as a horror movie as you will see this year. It features many of the hallmarks that have made the genre memorable including squeaking doors, Psychic children, a shrieking heroine and one of the creepiest old ladies seen on screen since Psycho.
'Funny games'

There is a scene in ‘Funny games’ in which Naomi watts, after being put through a horrendous ordeal of torture and psychological abuse by two men where she asks one of her captors ‘why don’t you just kill me’. His reply is ‘you shouldn’t forget about the importance of entertainment’ and that’s something that somebody should have told the makers of this po faced mish mash of half baked ideas masquerading as a film.

‘21’ is an unremarkable film but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. Unless you are looking for something with even a hint of substance than you will probably enjoy this movie like I did.
